- Fix bug where damage type was set incorrectly after armor reduction

Does this mean MP will be overall more effective, or certain damage types will be more effective?

I found it sort of annoying that after being bucked by my spirit steed that I would be both prone, and resting. I had to wait for the prone affect to wear off, and then I had to manually stand up. Is it necessary for both to be active?

I know I went into the bakemono caverns, forgot to fly, and at a certain drop, I just fell down and got scripted stun where my PE went immediately to 0% upon waking up. Is this intended? I don't mind and thought it was neat, but could really mess with say, a swashie.

Are you seeing that now? One of the changes that wasn't specifically itemized is that once prone wears off, you will automatically stand if you are fighting.

An example: You have resist elements up and you are hit by a flaming bite weapon. Previously your resist elements would have done nothing against it. Now it is correctly counted as a fire attack for purposes of damage reduction.

I wasn't specifically thinking about whether any script would stun you, but the game rule now is that anytime you wake up from being stunned, your available movement gets set to zero. You need to either rest up a bit or cast some refresh to get going.

I got killed by that once. I was bucked in combat and was resting while fighting. I couldn't stand up nor could I use any of my skills.

Lamest thing ever.

That wouldn't happen anymore specifically because of this update. Unless you are saying that happened to you within the last couple of weeks? Please refrain from clouding the issue on a Q&A thread.

I think -you- clouded the issue, D.

Ardith wasn't in combat. He was bucked by a spirit steed. If the change only works for "while fighting" he's still asking for a change: Once you're unprone, you shouldn't be resting.
