We have transitioned to a new web server. If you are reading this, you are at the new forums.

We had been having problems the last few days with posts disappearing. This turned out to be because our secondary DNS was mistakenly sending people to the new website. It was almost random whether you were visiting the old site or the new site at any one time. Some people posted on the new site, and then on the next login were back at the old site, which made it look like posts were deleted. Any posts that were made at the new site while it was testing are gone forever, because we made a new copy of the database from the old website after shutting down the forums.

At any rate, if you are reading this, it should all be fixed now. If you know people who are still getting sent to the old server (whose forums are inactive), you may want to have them flush their DNS cache or restart their computer. Welcome back to the forums.

A slight tweak: when viewing a topic, to view a forum ID profile click the profile name on the left side of the post.
