New Features:
- NONE! This update is primarily oriented toward upsetting the
established balance of power in the game (aka package #1). No
one can entirely predict how much change is about to take place,
which is why I am warning now that further tweaks may happen in
the future as things settle down. There will be new skills added
to warrior classes in future updates to complete their new
competitiveness. Even mages may get some new spells to
compensate for some of their loss.
Changes:
- THE COMPLETE PET WIMPING PACKAGE
* When existing NPCs come under control of a PC, their hit points
are reset to an amount that is standard for a PC of that level,
race and class. This affects pets, tamed animals, dominatation,
control undead and charm person (but not leadership).
* The undead no longer respond to 'order all'.
* Charm person only works on 'people' (bipedal) NPCs.
* The master is responsible if a pet breaks the law.
* Pets released during combat attempt to flee, else retaliate.
* Treant/Spirit Steed hit points detrimentally tweaked.
- SCOUT TWEAKING PACKAGE
* Scouts lose polearm and flail skills.
* Scout receives bow and fletch skills at Amateur.
* Scout equipped with practice bow and arrows at creation.
* Scout receives tame skill at Novice; can master at Veteran.
* Progression of sneak and shield block skills tweaked.
- Sleep spell beneficially tweaked.
- Spirit horde spell beneficially tweaked.
- Shield block skill beneficially tweaked.
Bug Fixes:
- The Keeper Tribunal should have all tribunal powers.
- Seance can no longer be used to summon NPCs.
- Summon/Gate can no longer be used on manifested PCs.
- Sleep spell takes priority over confusion spell.
- Abnormally low treant ability scores fixed.
