Code:
Definition: Spirit Disorientation
A character with spirit disorientation suffers a –1 penalty to all attributes for 2 days (48 ticks). Multiple spirit disorientations are cumulative.
Resurrection:
This spell does not require a corpse but it cannot be cast unless the dead character is in the Afterlife. Returning to life causes spirit disorientation.
Raise Dead/Breath of Life:
For the caster to perform this spell a corpse of the returning soul is needed. The spell costs one notch of XP and causes spirit disorientation.
Reincarnation:
This is generally considered the last resort and if used the character using it will lose one level's worth of experience. Character's who have not yet reached Novice status automatically reincarnate without losing any XP. Reincarnation does not cause spirit disorientation.
Death Quest:
Requires quest solution. Being returned via this method has an escalating cost. The first time is free with each additional time costing a notch of XP until a maximum of three notches from the fourth time onward. Returning to life causes spirit disorientation.
