How about actually roleplaying enmity rather than just jumping anyone of the opposite race? Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean it always has to devolve into violence.

Eh. I don't know where you got the idea that it wouldn't be roleplayed. :-? I'm not in the habit of having -any- confrontation without roleplay. This wasn't a queston concerning whether or not to RP the situation out. At all.

It was purely a question of principle. If, in the right well-rp'ed situation, a context occurs where two novice characters would fight, and not PK'ing would be purely an OOC act of consideration, would it be allowed.

I got my answer though. Thanks. :)

From my experience, do not initiate a PK at low level.
I made the mistake of that because someone accidentally did so with me, they fled, and I went and began to bash them...(this was at level 1-5...)

Next thing I know, Marfik is in his lovely half-elf suit...end of story.

Just don't...do it.
