Okay, as I understand it, age ticks increase the max of a stat by 1, but not the stat itself, and deep-elves have a natural max int of 24. Does this mean that age ticks will eventually give the deep-elf an int of omniscient?

If you have enough mods to max it, then yes. Delear and Fepel have both stated that it really doesn't do anything for you, but yes, your new maximum can be modded up to. This means if you have naturally maxed your INT, then you will need only a plus one mod.

The last I heard (and this is probably just me not keeping up with the changes) you couldn't train the new maximums. You could only mod up to them. Please let me know if I'm wrong.

You can NOT use mentor points to up stats that have age ticked.

I saved up 3 to do it, and you cannot.
