Ahoy-hoy internet regulars,

In my efforts to make a bard with a half-decent level of capability, I've stumbled upon the help file of 'art'. Now, it does talk about making magic more difficult to resist, and makes your magical devices a bit stronger (go scroll reciting!) it makes no mention at all about songs. Now, I know that music is art, and in that sense the two are tied... but does art actually affect the power level or strength of songs? Does anyone know?

As far as I understand Art effects scrolls for bards and that is it. How ever it might effect the second effects of cords but I do not believe it does. Art has no effect on songs as far as I have been made aware. I still maxed out art as a bard for scrolls because they are useful.

You are right. Art only slightly affects songs that affect the mind such as songs of sleeping, dancing and silence. It also may help in the resistance magical protection such as songs of death. However art is mostly used for scrolls.

I think that it doesn't affect songs.

Its does slightly (or maybe after I trained it with Nubru he got better rolls) however as was stated its mostly used for scrolls. Art will not increase the strength but it will not fail as much because of characters saves.
