 Post subject: Battle spear nerf?

I may just not have been paying much attention before, but anyone know if there has been a tweak to battle spears lately?

Could have sworn I was getting 4 attacks per round specialized in them and lately have been getting somewhere between 2 and 3...

Perhaps you lost an item or two that modded your dex, or an age tick, or quite possibly bspears were modified...

I am pretty sure that dex does not affect the number of attacks one gets. At least not according to the Help files

[Training help] strength

Strength is the measure of raw physical power. It allows a character to
lift more weight without tiring. In combat, someone who has more strength
might deal a more destructive blow to another character, or control the
weapon more effectively (as in the ability to start or stop the motion of
a heavy weapon)
thereby gaining a better chance of hitting the opponent.
It serves as a factor for other skills as well.

Strength is graded as:
puny
weak
strong
powerful
titanic
herculean

Those are old helpfiles, written under the dam-to/hit-to system, not sure how up to date they are with current code settings.

Specialization improves with level. If your not GM this could be why you are seeing a difference.
