Technically, you shouldn't NEED a client at all to do what you've asked. The "alias" command in game will already allow you to create macros to do those things.

The alias command is very limited in ability though, D.

But if all he wants is "simple emote macros and one for switching weapons", then it's perfectly suited for that. Why complicate things further if it's not necessary? Furthermore, in-game macros are always available, regardless if you are playing at home, school or the internet cafe.

For one or two RP emotes, and weapon changing aliases, the in game system works perfectly. However, I know I've run out of in game alias slots really quickly, especially as a spell caster. Another ten or twenty alias slots in game would be really nice, to cover emotes and such on top of casting/skill aliases.
