I know the oracle keeps track of how many times it's been used, is there a way to see just how many times I've gone to the River?

The IMMs have a command that can tell them how many times you've been killed by another player and how many times you've slain one.

too bad my character had been in the river like 10 times, but never once sent there by another player. Eh, you win some, you loose some.

It's not as good as a single command, but you could get a commercial client. Set it to auto log every time you play into a log file of the same name. Then you could do a search string of you have been killed!! and add up the count.
