Ok, so here's the deal. I have a two-handed weapon I would very much like to use. It weighs 28 pounds.

I've tried training strength and using staves of giant strength, but its always too heavy for me to hold. Shrinking it down to small is probably the next logical step but never a sorc around when you need one.

Am I restricted from using this until I get super strength or something? With giant strength I get 'Powerful' on my strength. How high does it have to be to use this kind of stuff? Is there any guideline on strength to weapon weight?

We happily discovered that weapon shop one day, despite the steep prices, we bought a few weapons. Then we found out at medium size, a human couldn't wield some of that stuff at maximum (non-buffed) strength. However the dwarf that came with could. Dwarves have +1 STR score than a non-warrior human.

You could try to bug log this and ask if it is intended.

Dwarves have a +2 strength than a non warrior human but close enough. Assuming your a human warrior your max str is 23 witch is classified as titanic. You probably need more str.
