Is there any way aside from finding out from other PC's what a certain quest entails?

I don't mean directions on how to do the quest, but rather, what it is I am even supposed to do to start with.

For example while wandering around Teron, I managed to pick up quest, and I am not even sure how I picked it up, nor do I know how to even go about completing it. I have gone back to the NPC listed in my quest list regarding it and have tried to initiate conversation to get it to repeat the quest, but I can't seem to get him to.

Any suggestions?

That's a good question. Ideally all the quests would be set up so that you can get a redescription of what you are supposed to do. I would recommend bug logging in the room and naming the NPC in question, so that the Kingdom Director can examine and improve the quest.

How about thost quests that seem to be level sensitive? Such as marianna and jeshew in Teron? They don't seem to want to deal with people of a higher level, even if the PC got the quest while 'little'. Is there a way to know which quests you will eventually outlevel? N_G

That's all based on the individual quests. There's currently no standardized system for levels or alignment requirements of quests.

Then make such a system!

I think it would improve the quest tracking system to have the quests that are alignment, level, or even timed be tracked, or rather colored in a certain way.

For example, if you receive a quest at level 20 and complete it while you between levels 20-30 you would receive experience, but if you were above it you wouldn't, so the quest tracker would be colored for example light blue for a quest you will receive the max experience for(between levels 20-25), then for half(25-30)dark blue and for zilch gray... or something along those lines.

Would go along nicely with the whole idea of questing while you're leveling.
