I wouldn't say that's the norm. However you are playing the exception. Read the "enmity", "enmity2" and "emnity3" help files. These are referenced from both help "elf" and help "deep-elf", so you should have seen them already.

Even so, killing someone in a newbie school with no RP is lame and you should feel free to pray and report it to an immortal. They could well be punished for abusing a newbie and/or lack of RP, depending on the exact circumstances.

Thanks everyone, I am not going to say anything about it, just testing the waters as for what is and is not tolerated. I myself prefer a good bit of rp with my death and descruction.

I guess what I am asking is this....Is this the typical rp I can expect to find here? People with no descriptions walking up and killing your char without any rp at all? That is perfectly acceptable and within the rules? I really couldn't find anything specific in the help files. :o

This will happen sometimes, but it's just a few specific players who have an obsession with "winning sk" that pull this kind of lame crap.

If it happens, log it and send it in. It will be dealt with because it's against the spirit of the game. Most people aren't this lame.

I would hope killing someone in the newb school would be completely against the rules, unless the person getting killed is being a jackass.

You know what? You're right. If they were actually in the newbie school, then they are abusing the Mentor role and should have it stripped. That is unless the other guy was also a Newbie. In which case it falls back into the category of just being lame.

I'm assuming the other guy was a newbie, since I think it was stated he had no adj/desc. Though honestly, that should still be against the rules.

Desc-free, adj-free novice kills amateur in Teron's newbie school. Novice is doing everything possible to avoid any repercussions from his wholly lame actions. If found out, that novice's MAIN should get a big curse.

If that is the case, deletion with a stiff warning that if it happens again, site ban.
