If you stun a NPC, do you not get XP from damaging it again after it has healed?

I believe there is a cap at which you will no longer gain exp from a NPC. You could very well get more exp from it, but at a point it will eventually not pay off.

Go and kill more NPCs.

Stun multiple NPCs then.

Stunning, healing and stunning again is pretty much Sadr RP. And if you have Sadr RP, I'm sure your char won't regret it if he kills everything and everyone. :P

There is the idea that someone could 'honorably duel to submission' these NPCs due to a desire not to irreparably harm someone. That someone would proceed to stun the NPC while dropping to 92% health. Then that someone would take the coin off the NPC, and possibly gear, as payment on a wager on the duel. That person could then heal the NPC or allow it to heal. Then the whole process could start again on the same NPC.

What's so honorable in a duel that barely hurts you? What's so honorable in dueling the same 'person' after handing it its lunch? Truly, what's honorable in taking everything from a 'person' you so easily outclassed?

Since you can't do anything without money and exp, and since any attacks cause someone to suffer, you'll have to adjust your stance if you're playing a 'feel good' lightie. You can choose to never kill sentients or sentient humanoids or animals or some blend, or you can choose only to kill those sentients that attacked you first. But you're going to have to kill something and a lot of them.

Oh, and so you know, I hadn't thought deeply about the subject until D-A made a statement of absolute regarding the evil nature of the stun-heal-stun approach. As I've shown, a full fleshing-out of the idea shows it to not be pure but twisted and evil.

It will gain you experience up to a certain point. I don't know what point that is, but you may well get a decent amount of experience from a NPC before its no longer worthwhile. No idea.
