Just curious about how one would update their description according to age ticks. Basically, each race has what? 3 age ticks then final death? Also, if a character age ticks, how much would the first, second and final age tick affect descriptions? I imagine the third one they would look rather elderly and old, but the first or second one kind of eludes me a bit. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

At the first age tick your character is middle aged, think 40-45 for a human. Hair may start to lighten towards grey around the edges, but other than that, not much is lost. Your next age tick is at I believe 3/4ths of your life, so once again for a human you're looking at around the age of 65-69 or so. You've definitely got some grey hairs, and wrinkles on the face, if you've kept yourself healthy your whole life you may still be able to keep a toned body but it's definitely not what you had in your youth. The shoulders may start to stoop a bit after years of strain and toil. The last age tick is 7/8ths or 9/10ths, I can never remember without looking it up. Either way, your time as come, might as well just get in the coffin and wait.

That's just generalized towards how people IRL usually tend to look around those ages. There's always tons of exceptions, so you can redo your description however you wish, have fun with it. Give your guy a feeding tube if you want, maybe a wheel around oxygen tank.

Most of my character's descs are updated 2-3 times at least by the first age tick. Never played a char past the first age tick. :P

I like to put a completely nonsensical description for my characters in. That way I can tell who reads it and who doesn't.

I always update my description every few months, but usually they're just little changes. I like to think the aging process is gradual, and our character's don't randomly become old at the 3/4 age tick.
