What it comes down to is...
1. Keep "OOC"'s down to a minimum, unless helping someone new to the game. (EDIT:) Even then, at least mix with IC conversation.
2. Keep "OOC"'s to non-public channels as mentioned, tell, gtell, and pray.
3. Exception... no one knows eachother's names and for some reason it is important... keep the 'say'/'sayto' ooc quick and short, you probably won't be cursed.
And don't forget to REMIND players to keep OOC's to tells if they must use them
Who knows, you might get rewarded for enforcing good RP, it's happened to me, it should happen to you!
