Using bold inside of quotes for forum posts

How the heck do you make something bold inside of a quote or code snippet? Everytime I try, it just shows up with blah blah blah.

You can't bold inside of code, because code formats to a "pre" tag in HTML.

You should be able to bold inside of quotes:
