A priest should -never- heal themselves. They have brew. All they should ever do is "quaff heal".

This. If you're casting heal on yourself in combat then you're doing it wrong.

Well, that in theory is all nice and such, but you must be able to keep on your vials!

I'm pretty sure that they don't turn off, and that no command is necessary once they're brewed to make them ready. Just sayin'.

Well, I feel like I brew more for the enemy than me or my friends.

In other words, getting ganked and looted often. And that's not a complaint, that's a fact. That is why I prefer heal self.

Pretty easy solution to that. Don't die.

On Huneria I never went around without at least twenty heal vials brewed for myself and only a couple of times did those get handed to the enemy...mostly because I wasn't trying to cast heal on myself and used quaff instead.

Oh, that's what I have been missing all this time! How haven't I thought it myself?

Now my playing experience is never going to be the same..
