It's definitely a good way to go, but now that you can't enchant MR on jewelry anymore and you still need a sizeable amount of MR even with GM spell ward, it's all but guaranteed that if you're 100% resistant that you probably don't have hardly any AP at all on your armor, meaning that not only will you get wrecked by arrows, but you also won't be able to heal as effectively or reapply defensive buffs like stoneskin quickly either. MR is definitely a lot more viable now, but it requires you to sacrifice just about all of your AP to do so.

Unless you get a ring of magical vestments.

I haven't read any of this thread, but Human is the best.
