I mean honestly there needs to be lowbie protection against aggro NPCs. Idk how you'd code that, but it's one of the biggest unsolved issues in SK. Bandits that backstab, alligators, ospreys, tigers, nasty imps, ettins, etc. The "exploration should come with risks" argument is meh, but we should be able to "stick to the road and you'll be fine".

amen, agree with all of this. i don't think aggro NPCs should attack people apprentice and below, tbh. especially if you have to walk in aggro-mob areas to find training levels, which you do, some of them even off-road.
