I've always thought that religion symbols were like items strung on necklaces around your neck. Most of them are, Alshain's medallion, Nashira's disc, Achernar's hourglass. But I was reading the newbie religion book from Exile and Frollith said that Meissa's gem within a circlet was an actual circlet worn around the head, with a gem setting upon the forehead. Now, that is totally cool, but I always saw that as a gem with a mini circlet hung on a necklace.

I know there is no right or wrong way to view this, if one person wants a necklace, do it, if another wants the circlet, do it, but my question is how do most of you view things like that? The Meissan symbol specifically. Do most of you view it as Frollith did, as an actual circlet worn on the head?

Personally I've always had a "materia" view of symbols - something that fits into a slot on your armor/weapon, for instance.

I always imagined symbols as an iron-on patch!

Sadr's symbol is obviously a real ball of fire that goes right on your forehead. Only way I can explain the spamming of "YOU FEEL the PAINZ!"

For me it depends on the symbol. I do see Meissa's as an actual circlet. Sadr's some have RP'd over time as being in different places depending on their sacrifice to the church. Others I view as just something on the front of their armor/clothes. I don't think it's actually written for any symbols other than Meissa's though where it's actually worn.

Sargas' symbol is worn on the middle finger.

Aludra's is worn on the back side and you can only see it when her followers bend over.

Cannibal has a point now that I think about it. It DOES remind me of a tramp stamp.
