Just for those who don't seem to realize this:

It's a bad idea to pick the name of the main character in one of the bestselling, most popular strategy games of all time. There's just the -slight- chance somebody might recognize it.

No offense Raynor, bit the day you created, I saw you in Nerina and TOLD YOU twice to delete and recreate with a new name. Then months later when everyone started calling you an incompetant moron, I suggested that you recreated with a new *original* name, and try again.

However, now that you have hit mentor and have such w0nd3rful arrrpeeee skillz for Ressing...

If you want a name for an alt, hints on Rezz RP, but especially things for an alt, PM me and I will help you train them personally.

HELP NAME says to be original.

Also, a name-generator exists on our own website within the same page that explains how to choose a name, etc:
http://www.shatteredkingdoms.org/name

...and the name-generator itself:
http://www.shatteredkingdoms.org/mudname.php

Enjoy.

Wow, let's look at the first name it came up with.

What's your secret, a monkey pressing random words on a keyboard?

In my opinion, you should use older names, or modify place names. London for example, can be easily modified to Elonden, or Londar, or any number of other names. Use a bit of imagination, if living in today's society hasn't purged it from you completely.

Any random generator should be used with a grain of salt. Whilst I did request a bit more checking for invalid names (ie, less consonants next to each other), I'm not about to pull it down until such a 'demand' is met.

Feel free to come up with something better, though. :)

This downloadable software includes welsh names, viking names, Arthurian names, and names from any Tolkein race, the ability to choose starting letters, the length of the name you want (within reason)

It's very useful for people with no imagination.

My personal favorite way to create original names is to go to a site with a list of prefixes and definitions. Figure out what kind of personality your character is going to be, mix definitions together and if you mixed them well, you got a really nice name.

Of course, for some people, this type of creativity might be beyond their mental ability. :D
