Thanks for the tips, as always. Unfortunately, real life will be keeping me away tonight. But I'll be back again tomorrow.

Train critical skills/spells for training only if you want to save on extraneous cash and xp usage.

Also keep in mind that the mentor command will only function within the inn or newbie area of your home country. Heading to an inn in other locations is a nice suggestion, but you may only find people there at random times or have to send tells to them and meet them somewhere.

Yeah, but the Nerina, Exile and Teron inns seem to be crowded more often while the north and Ayamao aer somewhat decent depending on the time of day. The empire seems a ghost town a lot.

Trying to train skills or spells that far exceed your current status will be expensive and exhausting.

Learning skills or spells at or below your current status will be much easier. 'Achiever' types sometimes take their time to learn all the skills at each status before concentratining on reaching the next status. Other types might just focus purely on what they 'need' and not 'waste' experience learning skills they can go back and get later.

The outpost is here from outside the south gate of Exile:

s;s;se;se;s;sw;sw;sw;sw;sw;sw;sw;se;e;se;

Then you enter the cave, go through to the outpost, and find the monsters.

Real life got postponed another day. 8)

So, all I need now are directions to Exile. I think I'll wait till I make Journeyman status and then ask around for directions iccly. :wink:

Lack of money has been keeping me from training any skills. However, whatever tweaks were performed in the caverns helped fix that particular problem. :D

I was able to Pk 1 1/2 levels, have some fun RPing, and basically thoroughly enjoy myself last night. Much better than simply Pking for very little reward!

own, we've been asked before not to give such detailed IC directions in the newbie forum. Though I admit most of my objection is that the outpost is a poor solution. Zhenshi has superior levelling opportunities for Initiates; it's just a question of needing a little guidance.

PK stands for player killing, and is named as such only if player kills player. Other than that, killing NPCs is training or smthing.

Now then, you can go to the nearest portal stones in the city you are in, and wait for the Cyan portal to open. Enter it and you will be in Taslamar. Follow the road due east and southeast as it bends, and you will find yourself in Exile's west gate.

Take care man, hope training and traveling turn out well for ya.

Oops! Sorry for the language error. Obviously haven't got all the shorthand down correctly yet!

As always, thanks for all the good tips!
