Ran the suggested test after I'd already adjusted my color scheme, as suggested, and everything is still midnight black to me. Oh, for a new pair of eyes! :(

There are a few items that use the black color and I haven't adjusted my zMUD to see them either. Don't feel like tinkering with it. What I do when I come across those items and want to know what they are is highlight them. Once I do that, I can see them.

Isn't it easier just to highlight it?

That's what I do.. considering I cant change the backround color on my client.

Try that. It may not work for some pages (Mozilla, Netscape) but I know it works for MSN pages and maybe internet explorer.
