I still wouldn't mind some effect of SoF, whether it's religion based or just a general thing like one-round concetration loss for the target or what.

Spear of faith is a sweet, sweet spell.

It used to be better, before BoG became overpowered, unbalanced, and out of concept (imho, of course). Hence why paladins had it - to use against evil that wasn't supernatural (hellions, dark priests, necros, undead).

Spear of faith is useless for priests in pk. Why cast it when you can cast harm?

Basically art help override people's save throws. (At least that's how I understand it).

Doubt it's three times faster, I would agree with two, I might be wrong. But the damage per cast for harm owns spear of faith.
