Someone once told me that Yed is an Acronym that stands for "Ye Elemental Deity".

Yed doesn't even exist. Just a bunch of [REDACTED] barbarian background people that worship fire. =/

When Yed first came about, years ago, me and kirsenvar sent him tells talking about how he was powerless, and Khore was where it was at, after a good ten minutes of taunting he transferred the character to the place with all the crazy tough elementals...good times.

Yed and Khore are different.

Khore was a God.

Yed is the collective consciousness of all the elements that exist in creation come together into self-awareness. He has the strength of a God given the immense power of all matter combined.

Khore was a distinctive personality and rather a crumudgeon at that. Yed just sort of is. You're like an ant to yed walking around on him. He takes no notice of you. If you get stepped on...so what?

He took notice to us and sent us to radi kenga's....apparently taunting the consciousness is enough to anger it.

That is pretty lame. I would be too ashamed to post that on the forums.
Considering Yed -is- Khore, the difference between them being that Khore took on a form or mortal shape and Yed basically is the elements.

Khore was the elemental Lord, who drew power from the elements.
Yed is the Elemental Consciousness, who is the elements.
Neither are really gods in the same line as the others, but still powerful enough to be worshipped.

While you don't have to follow Yed. It is usually advisable to give homage to him every once in a while. Yed just wants to be thanked. No more, no less.

Much less actually.

Yed is apathetic to the lives of mortals. IT doesnt really care what you do.

Yed is made a God by the worshippers that possess a devout admiration and respect for the magnitude of importance the elements play in everyone's lives. Therefore believing that EVERYONE is equally indebted to IT.. those that reject the claim that Yed deserves thanks (esp warlox) are parasitic scumfux. And should be smote. :P
