Yeah that isn't really true. While most people will generally be big jerks to you, newbie killing is still against the rules.

Oh snaps, guess I better stop crushing newbz into the dirt.

Slightly off topic, but is the NW's new newbie area going to be on par with Taslamar/Zhenshi?

Deep-elf hellion in teron will be a fun character.

I'd personally stick with the character if I were you. Once you master not getting killed with a hard as hell to not get killed character like this one, you'll realize how good you are once you roll up a twink race/class combo.

:D

As far as help goes, you'll find there is a good weapons store in the docks of teron called Grahme weapons. You have to state the subtype that you want, but they sell most. You're a delf hellion so you'll want to use reaching weapons for the most part. Use a spear to level until you get cleave, then use a polearm. A landshnekt would be awesome if you can get one, but I doubt you'll be able to unless smoeone hands it off to you. Ask people for one though.

There's an iron armor shop in teron as well that is really cheap just north of the town center.

PM me and I'll give you all the hellion tips and help that you could possibly ever need.

Newbie killing is NOT against the rules. Killing anyone indiscriminately is against the rules. Killing anyone without RPing it is against the rules.

Newbie in-game means low level. Newbie in actuality means someone who is new to SK. I will spam kill a level 15 if it talks trash to me and isn't played by a newb. I will be far less harsh on a GM who is new to SK.

Newbie and Lowbie are completely different.

Although you may be right in saying that "newbie killing" is completely against the rules, anyone who attacks any deep-elf low-level PC on sight as has been suggested here without -good- RP backing it up can expect to get in trouble for it when they're reported.

I know that you think that this is true, but in practice it is not. This sort of think happens all the time. People killing newbies just because they are wearing dark cloth so they must be a necro. Just because you or your character thinks something does not warrant enough RP to kill them, but since the Imm's do not make any attempt at solving this problem it will continue until the end of time.

We have to be aware there is a problem first. I don't think what you are saying "happens all the time". I know low level characters die, but for no reason? Without RP? I think it happens less than once a day. Less than once every week. Even this Cotiak people were griping about only killed one player character, yet everyone makes a huge fuss. Now there's a verb made of his name to imply lameness when he did it once. If this happened all the time, I'm pretty sure everyone would be more aware of it.
