Or use the area command. It basically tells you where to find NPCs of various levels. And you can ask people icly about where the places are.

The only thing level factors into with charm is your success rate. An expert~ sorc can charm Lathron/etc it just might take a few casts.

Yeah, Just what I thought. But I haven't played a sorc in awhile and I only made it to mentor on him before deletion. So I wasn't positive.
