Shattered Kingdoms

It's been mentioned already, but I highly recommend finding someone to help you in game - use the mentor command inside the newbie school or inn if you still haven't done so. Don't worry about being a pest either, since players who can't be bothered to help can (and should) turn off their mentor status.

A good mentor will not only answer your questions in an IC manner, but also ease you into RP and cover all the little things you'd never think to ask as a new player. This will hopefully increase your level of immersion in the game and help you get addicted much faster.

Something that's been missed so far, is that we don't know what class you are (and you shouldn't tell us here) but you might want to read 'help armor2' and see if the armor you are wearing is hampering your skills and spells at all.

Guys, just to help any newbies when skimming - please use uppercase to present any commands and parameters that can be typed (the command system is case insensitive, so we may as well take advantage) - especially considering some parameters need quotes. Also, please don't shorten commands for newbies when answering - at least folks will then know the command is CAST, rather than leave the forums wondering why 'ca' creates magic.

Firstly, use INVENTORY to see what you're carrying. As mentioned, SCORE or ATTRIBUTES will tell you how much you can carry.
