Another proposed IC solution.

Find a guy named Ghimgul...offer him 2 coppers to slit this person's throat.

I wonder if this nameless person is the same one that had tons of newbies killed by luring demons into nerina and exile inns, while the demon rift was still open in ayamao.

It sounds like Thubs has this under control, so I'll just add one thing.

One thing that many new players misunderstand is how pray works. If a member of staff is online and not building, they will hear your pray. However, it may sometimes be an idea to repeat it 5-10 minutes later if you get no response, since Imms building may miss your first attempt (prays do not cut through the editors, since that would render work virtually impossible at times).

If you still do not get a response, be sure to PM or mail one or several of us. Prays are not logged, and unless we hear it when sent up, chances are we will miss it.

---

If anyone has logs of anyone luring aggro demons into the Inns, I would much appreciate logs.

would it be considered bad RP to open rifts from aggro NPCs so that hapless newbies might walk into it and die?

Or to summon aggro NPCs into lowbie training areas?

Just curious becuase I always though of doing things like that to [REDACTED] peple off. The most I ever done is plague fountians and things.

Why would you want to summon aggro NPCs into low level training areas? Being a nuisance to high level characters is one thing but doing it to low level characters is just being a dick, and a detriment to the game. Why would you even entertain the thought of going out of your way to single out and harrass only low level characters?

Its not bad RP, its just plain against the rules. I think my slay command is getting rusty. Do it.

Take a moment to stop and consider who it is that is entertaining this "thought." Then, likely, you will find your question answered all by itself.

It is bad RP if your character is of Principled alignment on top of it. I gave out a level curse and a warning for this incident; I don't intend to be so lenient next time I see something comparable.

I have open rifts in places I am at war with and it lead to the deaths of some of my enemies, along with noobs, for that I am sorry but I dont see it as bad role playing, I belive SK is also a game of tactic, and if you type help rift, it states it can lead to a bad place, i do not force anyone into the rifts, i simply put them where my enemies will be tempted to enter them, some times you have to use order and logic (hail Ain) and maybe not enter the unknown, or it is logical to set traps for your enemies I do not agree with aggroing NPCs to newbie areas, but if some one walks into a place they should not be they pay the price sorry if I pissed anyone off, but to call it bad RP I would say it is a mistake.

I was only commenting on the summoning into low level training areas and I assume everyone else was, too.

The difference between what you, Osterich, did and what Meztiso wants to do is that you were targetting your enemies and if some low level character wandered into it and died it's unfortunate but it should be a learning experience for them. Meztiso was talking about targetting "hapless newbies." That is a very big difference in my mind and I hope the Imms start keeping a close eye on him in case he gets any other bright ideas.
