Learn to time your earthquakes and stone skin and you should have no problems taking out most anything in larger numbers. Earthquake should have some sort of short-term bash effect too. I would think the earthquake effect caused by a warlock would definitely be enough to rock people off their feet.

I've levelled several warlocks to GM in under 30 hours using earthquake. It doesnt do much damage initially but its easy to clear 3 to 4 levels a mana pool with it if you know how to take advantage of the areas you're in. Its also worth spam mastering invis so if you get in a bad situation you can make yourself invis and runs for the hills. Most NPCs you will encounter can't detect invis.

Find a leveling area.
Go to the central-most room of that area.
