I'm in the same boat...feeling nostalgic and thought I'd give SK another go. Enjoyed reading this thread. I don't really remember when I played but it was around the same time I think. Things I do remember include...

some sort of mud wide quest about an evil sword
'best' player on the mud was a griffon priest (or was it a fighter?)...I think he was eventually bumped upstairs
Nada was a worshipable god
A friend of mine led the Adepts for awhile
Beozaztar <sp?> was a fun place to hide as an evil sorc.

Looking forward to giving this great mud a try again!
