Perhaps I am just dull... but I cannot figure out how to join a group when I have a pet. I cannot accept an invitation without disbanding my pet, and then when I do I cannot get the pet to follow us. I've had to free a few pets because of this, so I'd appreciate any tips on what I am doing wrong. |

When you disband your party your pet stops following you. So then you are invited and accept and your pet is invited and accepts, but it still doesn't follow you and it can't follow anyone else. What you have to do is to stop following the group leader for a moment, order your pet to follow you and then follow the group leader again. That should fix your problem, or always order your pet to follow you after you disband your own party. And you won't even get in such a pickle. |

Er, I believe there is something else he hasn't grasped, yet. Once you disband, and accept the other party's invitation, ask them to invite your pet. You may order your pet to accept the said invitation, by order <pet> accept <group leader> |

Thank you both for your help. I haven't had a chance to try this yet in the realms, but what you say makes sense to me. |
