Does innate magic resistance, magical protection, the protection spell or anything else for that matter protect against or diminish damage from voodoo?

And if you're one of the innate magical resistant races: Elf, Deep-elf, sprite, halfling...

You take less damage as well.

that's all you get.

I think shield and spell ward might also help a little.

Shield falls under magical protection and as far as I know magical resistance has no effect on voodoo damage otherwise you'd be able to do a spirit aura resist to it. It's akin to magma spray in that it's "unresistible" (irresistible?)

MP boosts AC and reduces spell damage.

MP does not affect AC on armor at all. MP does reduce damage from meelee and spells however.

You can save vs voodoo's side affects. Like magic resistance to resist faerie fire, willpower saving againts deafness and curse, and fortitude saving against weakness.

Damage however cannot be reduce by standart fortitude, willpower and reflex saves.
