This assumes that knowledge of a weapon type increases your chance to parry that weapon when it's being wielded by an opponent. Does your skill at self-defense/brawling affect enhanced parry at all? |

I hesitate to answer this, but on the other hand... if you want to parry with your bare hand, by all means, go right ahead and try.. and be ready to lose said limb and extremity. When you are parrying, you're blocking with your weapon. I seriously doubt your arm is going to have enough strength to hit an opponent after its been struck dead on by a weapon. Someone can feel free to correct this nasty image if I'm wrong tho. Carita |

I'm not sure if anything affects enchanced parry. Parry is for weapon on weapon, Enhanced parry is weapon on fist. |

I was wondering the same thing, so I never trained self defense or brawling on my last merc to see if he would e-parry less. So based on observation only after mastering self defense and brawling I would say... no those skills don't affect your ability to parry natural attacks. If an Immortal could clear this up it would be more reassuring of course. |

Two points. First, if you look at wild fighting, it is the one that avoids eparry. The others don't. Second, eparry makes it easier to parry. Once you train eparry, your ability to parry will improve while fighting unarmed chars. |
