My steel medium spear (two handed) is too heavy for me to hold. I am medium and although i have spirit dissorientation, i am still strong with Load: 109.9/234.5 pounds. Why can't i hold it if i am still not even at half of my load even with SD? |

You probably issued the command WEAR ALL and ended up with something in one of your hands without realizing it. Check to make sure both your hands are empty and try again. |

When it says, it too heavy for you to hold, well, then it is indeed too heavy. In every other case, the mud replies with a proper message like "You need two free hands for that" etc. I know, that for some certain weapons you need to be able to have quite high strength, sometimes even "powerful". Try out to wear a piece of armor that increases your strength or train your strength attribute and then try again. |

Jandelay's hit the nail on the head. You need to train your strength statistic at an appropriate trainer to wield a weapon that's currently too heavy for you. |

Er, my aged-ticked elven priest still has a carrying capacity of fourty more pounds than that. Sounds like you need str mods. |

Like i said, i had two deaths so two compounded spirit disorientations. |

Then, you'll just have to wait until the spirit disorientation wears off. |

Right. Weapon weights are variable, within a certain spectrum. Some builders lean towards heavier or lighter, depending on their vision for what they are building. Sounds like the builder of that spear was thinking "big sharp heavy steel rod", which somewhere else you might find a builder who was thinking "long slender ashen stick with a big pointy steel piece on the end". |
