Hmmm...well I'm not sure where this is supposed to go, but I'll put it here. Can you persuade people to attack people in their own group? (I've tried in only one place with NPC NPCs so far, and it hasn't work, and i've checked that they're behind each other too.) |

Yes. Try to find these things out IC, though. |

You can persuade people to do just about anything (if not everything) you could do with an order command if they were charmed by you. Keep in mind of reaching weapons and group formations and such. |

ok, well here's why I asked....I'll post all the tests on the NPC log... so basically, the order is from front to back, stalwart human, one-eared giant, fiery-eyed deep-elf in the coming log. I persuade the deep-elf to kill the giant which is right in front of him....nothing happens. (after a bit of editing with my logs...) Code: The Middle of the Quarry... A male giant with only one ear is here. A fierce-looking human woman is here. A tall giant with lean muscles is here. A stalwart male human with green-tinged skin is here. A burly male human is here. Right you ordered a NPC in the 3rd row (the very back) to attack one in the middle row, Not going to work unless the deep-elf one has a ranged weapon such as a bow or Xbow (wich you'd have to persuade them to shoot XXX insted of kill XXX) or a reach weapon. Now again you are trying to persuade two NPCs in the 3rd row to attack each other, wich isn't going to work unless they are in the same group and even then it may not work unless the one you are ordering to attack can see the other one. |

hmmm....first part ... they're in the same group, one's right behind the other. i can understand that if they're in different groups, then you'd need a bow or something. but if you're standing right behind someone...? the second part, i'm pretty darned sure they're all in one group, since i persuaded one to cast color spray on himself...and it hit everyone there, meaning they're in the same group. plus, i ordered the invisible ones to attack the visible one, so they're visible for sure... |

If they are in the same group first row can't attack second and second can't attack first if the do not have reach weapons. |

ALright, I can see where you think the third should be able to attack the man in front of him. But think of it from a mechanics perspective. Take the deep-elves row - 3 take the giants row - 2 Can a third row char attack one in the second row? No. Try having a first row or second row with reach do it or two in the first. In Pk its usually pretty easy to know who will be up front, use it to your advantage. If not... then you're not very well prepared. |

They've pretty much covered it..Even if they are in the same group, the reach and all that works like they're not..Like first row can't hit the person behind them unless they can reach, and the person behind them can't hit the person in front of them unless they can reach..And third row, would need a bow, or to cast something to hit ANYONE in the group. |
