I could not find a help file for 'mana' I was wondering exactly what it is that happens when you train a stat point into it.

Much like when you train hitpoints or movement points, when you train mana your mana will increase - mana is the level of your mental powers, and its only use is in the number of times you can cast spells, or activate certain magic items.

Well if you have 100 hps, and you train hp then I'm guessing you then have 110 hps. It's a math thing.

 That's not what I meant, and I think you know that. I mean, like in terms of damage, and casting spells how much is 10 hp or 20 mana?

It's not a lot. A decent +mana item is considerably better, let alone a great one.

However, if you train it from say level one, it's a lot. I remember before recent changes, I'd train up my warrior class characters with about twenty three trains in hitpoints, which translated to two hundred and thirty.

That's a lot of difference.

HP trains will only really be valuable in bulk. The same goes with mana trains.

Mana trains I've never really been impressed with but hp has a lot of practical uses.
