Eh, the NPC gives you all the information you need. No reason to ask OOCly, let alone make a new thread for what you can figure out IC.

I can tell you that the quest works fine.

I cant tell you anything else.

Quests are an IC thing and nobody can help you via an OOC channel like the forums. Those things are best handled ICly, ask someone online maybe?

You won't find an answer here simply because forums are now allowed to reveal ANY IC information...

My best advice is to seek a merc in the game and ask him to help you

I have been sniff the snuff in that guild as if there is no tomorrow and no more coke and nothing is happening. I have reread at least 5 times what Mirrio says and it is NOT telling me what I am doing wrong! And Lolth this the newbie section where new players ask for help, deal with the fact the I don't know everything yet!

We're not saying we're not willing to help.

We're saying we can't help with quests OOCly - like on this forum. Seriously. It'd be a forum rule violation if we did.

Send some in-character tells around in-game, and you can probably find someone to help you out.

That's not a guarantee, though. I've been here years now, and I don't even know where this quest is, let alone how to solve it. SK has lots of um ... interesting quests.

I think you misunderstand me. I've every good intention to help you out. This is simply the wrong medium. The newbie forum (or any other forum for the matter) does not allow the use of IC information. It addresses issues of game mechanics etc. Feel free to contact me (Melithindlee) in game for this or other things you may be having trouble with. Assuming I can, I'll be glad to assist you.

I feel his problem is a mechanics one. It works like a tool, which needs to be held first. Certain SK items don't work otherwise. It's just part of the code.

If that is what the problem is then just have the guy that starts the quest have him tell you to hold it first. Problem solved.
