I bought the gnomic chess thinking that it might be playable, but I can't seem to figure out how it works (if it does at all) or if it is just cosmetic and the game would be solely RP. If it is just RP, then that is fine too, I still plan on trying to get someone in for a game, but I was curious if there was some commands specifically for it. Any help would be great, thanks!

Probalby a question to find out ICly. There is a certain class that has the ability to look at items and find keywords for the scripts they have on them. Sorry I can't tell you more.

He wants to know if the chess set functions or if he will have to emote every move. How is that an IC question? That's about the most OOC question anyone could ever ask. Unfortunately I never had any luck getting the chess set to work, but I didn't spend much time trying so I can't answer the question.

He's asking if an in-game object has any in-game abilities. Sounds like something a bard can figure out, doesn't it?

It is not a scripted item. It doesn't do anything: it just has cool descs.

Thanks for the responses. And it seemed to me to be both an OOC and IC question, I just wanted to know OOC if it had a script before I went searching IC for a bard. I wish thiere was a way we could play chess in game without having to emote. I imigaine it would be all but impossible to code however.
