I'm having trouble using reload stone for a sling. Did I get the comand wrong or is it I'm trying to put a medium sized stone in a medium sized sling when I'm small?

I've had the same issues when trying to throw a stone that had been previously shot or shooting a stone that had been previously thrown.

With auto - fire the reload command has become somewhat redundant I believe. Just turn auto fire on and line up with shoot X. Slings also have no range grater than a room so its possible it could be a mix of throw and range weapon combat.

My issues came with thinking that you can have the ammo in a container. not the case when I actually trained sling.

1) Sling must be in hand, ammo must be out of container.

2) Ammo is not shot. Throw is the command.

3) Auto fire does not seem to take into effect as I've had to throw each stone.

4) I've had no problem throwing stones back that have been thrown at me, it was originally the only reason I learned it. I was tired of being row 2 and getting mauled to death by stones when the NPC has no sling.

So, I have the sling in hand with ammo in the invitory and autofire turned on, and I write "Kill slave", or do I need to write "throw stone slave" or something else?

The shovel is to heavy for me to hold right now, so I might have to wait on figuring out if I need fresh dug stones.

Thank you for the advice.

Use shoot <x>. In your case, "shoot slave"

I always used sling stones from a container. Never had a problem with that how ever I used bought sling stones mixed with normal sling stones thrown at me.

Help sling has the syntax on how to use sling. The Forums are good but dont forget the help files for the quickest help.

Another catch might be the size of the stones being thrown at you. If you are small and your target medium (gnome vs human) you are going to have issues using a sling ammo the wrong size doesnt work. How ever you still should be able to use the throw command I believe (using the sling skill if you are using stones).

"You can't do that.
It's payload is empty."

I investigated and found some pre-made stones and slings from a bunch of places that had been built incorrectly. Should be fixed now.
