I bought a pony in exile, and I can't seem to get it to follow me. When I try to move to a different room in the Taslamar training academy, I always leave it behind. The pet also has full HP, ME, and PE, by the way. Can anyone tell me what's going on? [HP:100%] [ME: 40%] [PE:100%] > s You ride a gray-pelted pony south. You are forced to leave your mount behind. Gloif Hall Lacquered mahogany walls reflect the brilliant light of the white glass orbs overhead. Solid beams of wood are evenly spaced throughout the structure of the walls, giving it a deliberate homely feel. The ground beneath you gives way to your every step due to the cork-like material spanning the floor of the arena, which softens the impact of the sparring students all around you. The arena is devoid of furniture or any other hindrances, leaving the hall with a spacious feel. Obvious exits: n w nw A torch rests here. I had this problem once, and it's an issue with the way the script for scoring the finishing blow on one of those NPCs is set up. Your pet isn't supposed to have anything in their inventory, but the script fires if the pet scores the finishing blow and sticks coin in the inventory of the pet. Essentially, your pet is "over loaded" with a few coins. Order it to drop all, and it'll clear this up. |

I had this problem too with tamed pets. Make sure it isn't dark becuase You feel like a real stupid <removed info> when a God tells you do it for you and they do it, when it is light out. But I think I have had this problem more then once...but if this doesn't work take out frustration IC'ly Enjoi Kyle |

Could it be possible that area is designed to not let you have pets in there? I believe that some of the noobie areas do not allow pets in them. |

Either that, or the pet is level 6 or higher |

Pets are not allowed in newbie areas. I have many times got frustrated with that. Unless you can find a pet that is lvl 5 or under. |

First, the pet was ALREADY IN the newbie area when he tried to move with it. There is no entrance to the area filled with opponent NPCs that you move south to enter. Second, I answered the issue raised in this post already, you can stop confusing the poor boy. 300 to 1, that's exactly the issue at hand. The "end of fight" script handed the horse a bit of coin and now it won't move because it has something in its inventory. That's the be all and end all. Muktar, you're out of your tree. Pets can go into newb areas. |
