If I have reached the max attribute points for my race does armor affect it beyond that, or is it only magical affects. Also, My dexterity is at max but I have never seen my char get his third attack, is it weapons I'm using, or maybe its a bug? Kyle |

Weapons if you have the skill trained. Mods on armor wont take you past your race max with the exception of a few spells. Also some spells can take you past without mods on armor. They do have side affects though. |

Its probably the weapon, although there is a small chance it could be how well or poorly your character knows 'third attack'. Try to find a faster sub-type of whatever weapon it is your using. Use the 'compare' command to see the differences in speed, accuracy and damage. |

Dexterity has nothing to do with how many attacks you recieve. Simply the speed of the weapon. |

I have tried using the sword of spring aswell, thought that was one of the faster swords in the game. Not once did I get a third attack, maybe I just have really bad probabilities. |

I actually think size of weapon, and possibly dex, also have something to do with weapon speed. A sprite with a katana (and third attack) can get, consistently, four attacks, but a mino with a katana (and fourth attack) rarely gets three. |

If I remember right (which could also be completely wrong), dex does affect in that it affects the effectiveness of the speed. |

I would guess.. Dex, Char Level, Skill Level, Weapon Size and Weapon Speed would be the sort of things to effect number of attacks. Sword of Spring I think is a machete, which is a horrible subtype. There are quite a few faster subtypes in-game; wakizashis, epees, for example. Use the compare command to compare them to other weapons, and it will tell you in the three areas (damage/speed/accuracy) their relative difference between each. |

That's simply because the sprite attack is a guaranteed attack, the game simply takes the attacks you would recieve that round and adds one. It could also be a problem with skill levels in the attacks. I've never noticed a difference in the amount of attacks recieved by different races with different dex scores however. |

Pretty sure you misread what I said, because your response has very little to do with it. First, I said weapon size has more to do with number of attacks, but that dex may be a contributing factor. Second, I said the sprite consistently has third attack PLUS their bonus attack fire, whereas the mino only rarely has third attack fire at all, even while having the contributing bonus of fourth attack skill. Also, to address the one relevant point in your statement, both characters' second, and third attack skills are mastered. |
