Is cleave really that strong that you have to wait for a tick to pass before you can cleave again? Why is this not true with backstab, that is a pretty elite first hit aswell.

They both have penalties. Cleave you can do once every tick, and at any time, as long as you haven't started fighting yet. Backstab, you can do nonstop, but if someone's pulse is racing you can't do it, unless they're blind. Which is sort of like 2 ticks that you can't backstab for.

Yes. Cleave really is that strong.

Benjamin would one shot a lot of his enemies, unfortunately he's always on mode stun.
