Hello, I am a new player and I bought a horse right next to the training area. I didn't use it for too awful long before it wouldn't move, I was 'forced to leave my mount behind.' The mount was a full power across the board. Can anyone tell me why this is, was this mount to powerful for little ole me? |

This is Taslamar's mount, I'm assuming? This might be a bug, the only reason that you should leave your mount behind should be if its out of PE. The only other thought off of the top of my head is that your mount was "prone" due to combat (Either being bashed or tripped, or missing a bash or trip on another) which forced you to leave it behind. Did this happen right after a combat? |

Hi maze, and welcome to Shattered Kingdoms. A mount can get left behind for a few reason. Two that come to mind is the size of the exit you are passing through (as you walk from room to room) is smaller than your mount. This would cause the mount to be left behind. The other, more common reason, is that your pet got tired. There are lots of reasons that affect how fast your pet gets tired, including the areas you're traveling in and the weather that may wear it out faster. If this happens, just "order <pet> sleep" to put it to sleep and help regenerate it's physical energy (PE) faster. I have never heard of a pet (especially ones near newbie training areas) to stop following a PC based purely off it's level. Most likely, it's just tired, but possibly you're going into rooms it won't fit though. Hope that helps. sleeper PS Prone is an option too. Good thinking Edoras. |

I'm not sure about the prone, I didn't know to watch for that. I did try to order it and it didn't listen to me. I tried to free it as well. I'll buy another one when I get more coin and check it out again. Thank you for your responses. |

This happened because Shattered Kingdoms is a cruel, cruel world where nothing is fair. |

There is also a small chance that it is related to the weather, the wind can be severe enough to hold back a pet but not the rider. |

This will also happen if you're flying, but your mount is not, and you go some place where only a flying mount could follow you. |

There is also the possibility that your mount was unable to follow because of the room you entered. Perhaps you went into the newbie zone and the horse is too high level to follow inside. |

"you are forced to leave your mount behind" is when the mount is out of PE/it cant fit into an area you are entering/you are flying and it is not. |
