How many days are in an IC month and how many months are in an IC year? I have looked in A LOT of places for this info IC and can't find it anywhere. Thanks in advance.

It's found under calendar, days, week:

12 months of four weeks, each week having seven days.

So 28 days in a month.

This bit of our website also explains a bit, and offers a means to translate IC and OOC times.

I've noticed though, that in general, if a character says "I won't be arround next month" that translates at "OOC: I won't log on tomarrow"

So even though if you think about it, the math doesn't work out quite right, when relaying that kind of information, an IC month = an RL day.

I know this caused me a bit of confusion until someone explained it to me.

I actually say "next month" to refer to tomorrow (at about the same time). If one RL minute translates to one IC hour, it's actually two months until I log on, since there are 60 days in an RL day.

You're never going to get it exactly. And if you do, no one is going to care enough to check it. I will say "next month" if I don't intend to log in until the next day also. I will refer to seeing someone yesterday OOCly as "last month" icly.

Beyond the helpfiles, there is a book in the gnome city about time, seasons, months, days, etc.

I do the same thing. It's not that precise but most people know what you're talking about.

Help calendar. Help days. Help timehas see also mentions.
Seven days, four weeks, twelve months.
The common vernacular is next month for tomorrow or last month for yesterday.
It used to vary, but I know its synchronized to RL time.
It is exactly 15 IC months per RL week (10080 minutes).
60 IC days (2 months, 4 days) per RL day (1440 minutes).
2.5 IC days per RL hour.

Bullet points post ftw!
