The Western Archway
You stand at the looming gates of Teron. They are made of hardened steel
and adorned with many spikes and chains which make contact with the wall
dangerous. Looming up above the gate is a large wooden catapult, which
oddly enough is situation to aim into the city, rather than out.
A waning crescent moon hangs in the sky. It's mostly clear, mild, and
breezy.
Obvious exits: n(murder hole) e s(murder hole) w(murder hole) nw(murder
hole) sw(murder hole) gates
The massive iron gates of Teron lead out of the city here.
A large, long crate with an open top has been placed here on the ground.
An enormous siege weapon has been erected here and dominates the view.
A scruffy dog stands nearby, caked in dirt and mud.
A gate guard stands here looking for intruders.
A gate guard stands here looking for intruders.

Code: l rock A large black rock is resting here on the ground. This giant-sized stone boulder is [b]for use with a catapult.[/b] Are there any catapults in the game? I mean, if there aren't, I don't feel like the game's lacking at all (the IMM's time should be spent doing the more important things) but... I was just curious.

I don't know offhand if anyone has built any in a prominent location, but they are certainly just as capable of being made as a ballista.

And there are ways to have a catapult or ballista mounted somewhere, if you look around the game.
