| Post subject: | Daily Reboot |
Seems to be a daily reboot at the same time every day. I get a five minute system warning message and then a countdown message every minute. Are you supposed to save and quit prior to the reboot once you see that message? Or just log out without saving since saving gives you that horrendous lag? Thanks. |

You shouldn't -have- to save before a scheduled reboot. It logs you off when it's time for the reboot to occur, which automatically saves your character anyway. That said, I still save and quit a minute before the reboot occurs. |

If you type quit before 0 min, it will save you like normal. It is still good practice to type 'save' before hand just in case, especially if you just plan to sit there till it logs you out. And go ahead and test it. Save at 1 min left with a single piece of food in your inventory, then drop it, then see if you have it after reboot. I sure know I will if it reboots tonight, just for the hell of it. |
