Code: who alshain
[Hum GOD] [KEEPER] Alshain. Players found: 0 Why is it we can see what cable an Imm's in at any given point? And I hesitate to ask, since it may be IC information, but did Alshain join the Keepers to fix something? To chat with them? to uphold the laws of Taslamar? |

Gods can be in any cabal they want, but when they log in, usually they are in the main cabal they are in charge of. I remember when Ain was in the Harlequins once. |

Alright, but is there a reason we get to see what cable we're in without being in said cable? Was there a bunch of complaining when this wasn't in effect? |

First off its cabal not cable, and even that should be organization because here it's a tribunal that's being spoke of, and IMM do what they want. And this isn't in the least uncommon. |

I think you should just consider the fact that you can see imms on the who-list to be an OOC occurance. If you want proof of why that advice is sound, try sending an IC tell to a visible immortal. I did it once, it wasn't pretty. |

I would generally assume that that tag is OOC in nature. I'm not sure there's any instance of a god actually being a member of a cabal (recently). |

It's not very often, and (when we remember) we usually remove ourselves afterwards. Some additional points: a) an immortal visible in the who list is an In-Character event. Most RP this as 'I sense Zynor is walking the realms' etc. If an immortal wants to remain OOC and unreachable, they have commands to do so (aka WIZINVIS) b) There was a time when immortals were more formal patrons of particular groups - I'm vaguely recall Calrion being aligned to Hammer, for example. The addition of tribunals was probably the time when those direct associations ended though. |

In this instance, Alshain was being mean. |

I've always wanted to send Alshain a tell. I've always been told not to. |
