So this question is really about polymorph but I guess it applies to disguise as well. Is it legal to purposefully polymorph/disguise with an adjective similar to a NPC in order to deflect attacks to it? It seems like it shouldn't be legal to try to deflect attacks to a lion, but maybe it would be legitimate to deflect attacks to a charmie? |

I've seen people create character with adjectives meant to obfuscate targeting their charms, pets, and other players. If it is against the rules, it is not widely enforced. Right now, I feel like adjective tomfoolery falls under the umbrella of "l33t tactics." |

I use polymorph sometimes to directly imitate specific NPCs, even steal their clothes and imitate their description (* remember 'help description' everyone! should try to get at least a 3 line description even for polymorph) and havn't had anyone say anything to me about it. I'm sure it's a very valid tactic. ((Also, no stealing my antlered rabbit!!! *shakes fist*)) |

Yeah like there was this golden-eyed chick who walked around with a golden-furred lion. It is definitely against the rules to purposefully deflect attacks to a pet. It is considered cheating, not leet tactics to disguise as thick and walk around with a thick-maned lion, or polymorph as baby-faced and dart around with a baby bronataur. Similarly, it is against the rules to purposefully choose a permanent adjective for your character that will be confused with your character's preferred pet. I'm not sure about trying to deflect attacks to a charmie. It does seem different to polymorph into a dull-eyed male human and then use Losquaty. It also at least seems acceptable to disguise with the same adjective as an enemy in order to confuse their group. I'm not really certain about these cases, though. |

I think with disguise and poly it's fine, as it is a tactical advantage that can be dispatched. Creating a character with a permanent adjective for said advantage is abuse, and punishable. |
